Thank God for Louise Crawford.
My fellow Brooklynite does the damn thing as the founder and coordinator of Brooklyn Reading Works. She has created a wonderful space for writers to share their passion with the listening public.
On Thursday, November 15 at 8 p.m, Brooklyn Reading Works is hosting Poetry Punchfeaturing poetesses Lynn Chandbrook, Cheryl B., Zaedryn Meade and Marietta Abrams. Also reading will be Michele Madigan Somerville, my favorite poetess, a sassy Irish American sistah who also happens to be the fabulous momma of three wonderfully spirited children.
I’ll be there to show my support. If you care to join me, here are the details
