Brooklyn Reading Works Hosts “Memoir-a-thon” on February 28

Want a close encounter of the most fabulous kind with authors, essayists and bloggers, including yours truly? Then come to Brooklyn Reading Works’ “Memoir-a-thon” on Thursday, February 28 at 8 p.m. at the Old Stone House in Brooklyn, NY.

What will expect from me? I will be reading from my book, Bearing Witness: Not So Crazy in Alabama, which chronicles my adventures as a Harlem native living in Montgomery, Alabama as well as a post or two from this blog, “The Ride: Life Lessons for Those Who Can’t Draw a Straight Line.”
