This will be quick. I got some reality television to watch. Project Runway, Shear Genius and From G’s to Gents await. Okay, here’s the deal. I used to love MTV’s Run’s House (Tuesdays 10 p.m. Eastern) years ago when it first began. Now I have grown tired of Rev. Run, his wife and his kids (exception: recently adopted daughter Miley).
Enough with the Father Knows Best/Cosby schitck Rev. Run. We got it. If you really knew best, you would encourage your teenage/20-something marginally talented children, to go to college. Once the fame ends and the money runs out or low, they, who seem to have the work ethic of slugs and the smarts to match, will need something to fall back on. And by the way, how does Rev. Run make his paper? It’s certainly not from album sales. I haven’t heard about any endorsement deals either. He is one of the producers of the show along with seemingly hundreds of others that include Diddy. In the world of reality TV, producers are the ones who really get the dollars.
Well, that’s my rant and I am sticking to it.
And about Diddy…You best believe I will be watching the reality show I Want to Work for Diddy when it has its official premiere on Monday, August 4 at 9 p.m. Eastern on VH1. The show, in which constestants vie to be Diddy’s assistant (a.k.a “slave”), should prove to be a hot tranny mess…Really…One of the contestants is a real life transvestite. Free snaps for everyone!!!
