I guess the McCain presidential campaign ran out of Kool-Aid when it came time to pass the cup to Carly Fiorina, the campaign’s top economic advisor and former Hewlett-Packer CEO. According to published reports, when asked by McGraw Milhaven on his self-titled radio show on KTRS in St. Louis, “Do you think [Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin] has the experience to run a major company like Hewlett-Packard?”, Fiorina said, “No, I don’t…[but] that’s not what she’s running for.” (Source)
“…not what she’s running for”? Since she got the first part right, I’ll let that statement go…for now.
Of course, Fiorina caught in the behind for that unfiltered response and later on MSNBC with Andrea Mitchell backpeddled in the most awkward way “by adding others to the list of people who could not run Hewlett-Packard either: Mr. Obama, Joe Biden and, also, John McCain.” (Source)
McCain? Nice work Fiorina, throwing the dude you are said to be helping under the bus.
Damn. Once again, I’ve been sucked into the vortex that is Sarah Palin – a superstar politician like no other. How could anyone with an undying love of hot buttered mess resist? Certainly, not me. **smiles**
