Well, it’s over. At least for me anyway. I’m sure you have guessed (or rather, read) by now who won season 2 of TV Land’s She’s Got the Look (Thursdays, 9 p.m. Eastern/Pacific), the modeling contest for the over 35 set. For those of you who missed the finale, let me briefly tell you what happened.
After mean girl Shelly Marks was sent packing the previous week, the final three took a trip to Miami to complete the last of their challenges.
As soon as Cindy Cohen, Theresa Kalnins, and my fave, Dallas, Texan, LeeAnne Locken landed in Miami, they had to get right to work — a photo shoot on the beach.
The next challenge had the women in little more than body paint and a bikini bottom. Sounds simple, yes? Well, no. The finalists had pose with animals: Cindy, penguins; Theresa, a tropical bird, and poor LeeAnne with monkeys who peed on her and tried to remove her bikini bottom. And if that wasn’t enough to send LeeAnne screaming and running off the set, one, shall we say, tried to have “relations” with her (i.e. humped her neck).
For their last task, the woman had to walk the runway in fashions provided my Miami-based designers and alongside models currently represented by Wilhelmenia Models, Inc. The usual backstage mayhem ensued. The women managed to avoid major wardrobe malfunctions to do their thing on the runway.
When it was all said and done, Cindy Cohen, 40 of Calabasas, CA, a woman who, along her then 10-year-old son, was once homeless, was the declared the winner and the recipient of a contract with Wilhelmenia Models, a photo spread in the Septemeber issue of SELF magazine and $100,000.
She’s Got the Look will return for a third season. Open casting call will be held in the following cities: Los Angeles (12/6), New York City (12/12), Memphis, TN (12/13) and Columbus, OH (12/15). Check http://www.TVLandPrime.com for more details.
